We consider Russia as our homeland because our fathers, grandfathers, and great-grandfathers lived there. It is our motherland because we were born here, we speak the native language here, everything here is familiar to us. And we also call Russia our mother - she fed us with her bread, quenched our thirst with her waters... She protects and keeps us like a mother.
