Task: Choose the correct answer. I could determine from the town hall clock that I was running behind, so I decided to catch a bus. It was a beautiful day; the sun was shining and there was very little wind. I turned a corner and walked down the main street. A couple of minutes later, I heard a noise, and a man wearing a grey leather jacket ran past me. Initially, I thought he was attempting to catch the bus which was waiting at the bus stop, but then a policeman appeared, running at a fast speed.
